Hometown Home Health, Inc. is a Medicare Certified agency. A Skilled nurse is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. All of our caregivers are bonded and insured for your protection and ours.

1. What is home health care?
Home health care generally refers to any medical or non-medical care that is provided to an individual in the comfort of their home. These individuals may be recovering from an illness or injuryl. Care is evaluated and personalized to accomodate their unique circumstances and includes a range of services, including nursing, health aide, social work, and various therapies.

2. How is home health care paid for?
Home health is provided by Medicare and by some insurance providers. To be sure of coverage, families should check with their employer or health insurance provider.

3. Is home care advantgeous over a long-term care facility?
Given the choice, most people prefer to be cared for at home because they are in a familiar environment and have to make limited changes. Home care studies have shown there is a therapeutic influence on the healing process.

4. How do I determine the type of service I may need?
Your personal physician will consult with you, and perhaps with other health care workers to determine your need.

5. How soon can services be provided?
Our nursing services can be available within 48 hours.

6. How do I get started with your services?
